If nothing else, the election of Donald J Trump has given 68% of the American population "Hope". Hope is something average guys and gals haven't had in a hell of a long time. With a fleeting shot at getting some kind of hope, a reason to get up in the morning, I have been asking my good wife to purchase at least one "qwik pic" lotto ticket every week. Of course, I don't expect we will ever win anything, because we never have. In the twenty years she has been doing this, I think we won a "free" lotto ticket on two or three occasions. That's it. No more, no less! So what does our two dollar lotto purchase do other than wasting $104.00 per/year? It buys us some "Hope". Some hope that maybe one day, we will be able to purchase a little cottage on the Maine Coast and live out the rest of our days in bliss.

Well, I'm almost seventy years old now and my wife isn't far behind me. The hope we get from our two dollar lotto ticket doesn't last very long, but with the recent election of Donald Trump we can see a little light at the end of the tunnel for our grandchildren. Even if President Trump is only able to accomplish one third of his campaign promise agenda, he will have done more for us little guys than we have seen since Ronald Regan sat in the oval office. We the People wish our new President the best for this new year. I don't give a damn what anyone says, the man was there when his country called and he answered the call. God Bless Donald Trump and God Bless America!
